In a real e state investment, the high amount of resources and the long periods of time usually involved, make necessary a previous analysis of economic and financial viability for the entrepr neur to have confidence while making decisions. For that, we approach the techniques of investment evaluation and its relations with strategic decisio n making on real estate investment. We also demonstrate that the analysis of economic viab ility is a determinant factor for the success of business, especially when compared with the use of contingency or intuitive approaches in the decision to invest in this sector of the econom y. |
