| Abstract | A continuous two-scales modelling is developed to describe the electro-chemo-hydraulic behaviour of the interstitial fluid saturating a porous medium. The coupled modelling of Moyne and Murad is modified to take into account viscous effect localised at a lower scale than the microscopic one. Thus a modified Brinkman equation supplemented by ionic transport laws and electrostatics is considered at the microscale. Using a suitable change of variables and carrying out a periodic homogenization procedure, the macroscopic description of the phenomena is derived. For materials presenting a cylindrical geometry like bones, a coupled Darcy law is finally obtained |
