| Abstract | Este artigo tem como objetivo analisar alguns pontos da atual situacao da navegacao de cabotagem de carga no Brasil, entendida como um elemento constitutivo das dinâmicas de circulacao dos fluxos materiais do pais, visando aprofundar o conhecimento sobre as relacoes entre uso, regulacao e organizacao do territorio, e sua relacao com o poder publico e as empresas privadas no Brasil contemporâneo destacando: o papel da circulacao e sua importância na estruturacao do territorio; as recentes acoes estatais para essa modalidade de transporte; as estatisticas contemporâneas de circulacao de mercadorias; os principais fixos e fluxos vinculados ao modal; os principais agentes privados que atuam na cabotagem brasileira; bem como os principais circuitos espaciais da producao que se utiliza do modal. Abstract The purpose of this paper is to analyze some points of the current situation of coastal shipping (cabotage) in Brazil, comprehended as a constitutive element of the dynamic movement of goods flows in the country, aimed at increasing the knowledge about the relationship between the use, regulation and organization of the territory, and its relationship with the public power and private companies in Brazil today, emphasizing: the role of the circulation and its importance in the structuring of the territory, the recent governmental actions for this transportation modal; statistics contemporary of goods movement; the main fixed and flows; the main private actors operating in Brazilian cabotage; as well as the main spatial circuits of production which uses the modal. Resume Cet article vise a analyser certains points de la situation actuelle du cabotage au Bresil, compris comme un element constitutif de la circulation dynamique des flux de marchandises dans le pays, visant a approfondir notre connaissance sur la relation entre l'utilisation, la regulation et l'organisation du territoire, et ses relations avec le gouvernement et les societes privees au Bresil. Par consequent, nous mettons en evidence: le role de la circulation et son importance dans la structuration du territoire bresilien, les actions recentes de l'Etat sur ce mode de transport, les statistiques actuelles de circulation des marchandises, les principaux fixes et des flux lies a cabotage, les principaux enterprises prives operant dans le cabotage bresilien, et les principaux circuits spatiale de la production qui utilise ce mode de transport.
