Ms. Ana Paula da Rosa Cristino Data e Local da Defesa: Sapucaia do Sul/RS, 18 de setembro de 2010. This case study objective is to analyze the implications of educational management in educational practices of PROEJA – National Program for Integration Between Professional Education and Basic Education in the Youth and Adult Education modality on the Federal Institute of Technology at the city of Sapucaia do Sul (RS Brazil). Contributed to this work two teachers of propedeutical disciplines (Mathematics and Biological Sciences), two of professional subjects (Acconting Sciences and Administration), one pedagogical supervisor, the PROEJA Administration Technical Course supervisor and three teachers of the third degree of the Administration Technical Course. The docents were questioned about school management concepts, general knowledge an experiences for decency, defies of collective pedagogical practices and implications of concomitance between propedeutical and professionalizing disciplines in professional formation of apprentices. For the alumni, motivations, perspectives and expectations with reference to PROEJA were analyzed. The analysis of gathered information pointed that school management of that modality defies and motivates managers to develop collectively the integrated pedagogical project based on knowledge, difficulties and expectations of apprentices and relationships between disciplines, labor oriented formation and general education. With respect to apprentices, the reduced term of professional preparation in the PROEJA modality precedes the general formation, focused in labor market insertion. So, the school management in that entity is observed as a process in construction, in interlocution between various segments, in participative engagement and collective co-accountability. |
