| Abstract | This paper presents an investigation about the application of History of Science for the learning of physics concepts on elementary school, on the perspective of Meaningful Learning. Along with necessary adequacies to attend people on the age of our investigation, we have elaborated an articulation between theoretical references that support the development of an approach for an application of historical-pedagogic study on elementary school. The phenomenological exemplar of interest chosen for this study was Rainbow, which stimulated a rich and adequate epistemological contribution to this level of teaching. The methodological newness we present contemplates the need of implementing new methodologies that propitiates Scientific Alphabetization to students from elementary school. |
