| Abstract | This research paper presents the results of the creation process and determination of the psychometric properties of an instrument for assessing teaching strategies in the practice of university teaching. For this study, an instrument was used with a sample of 20,051 adult college students in 18 cities in Colombia; factor analysis, cluster analysis and internal consistency analysis were made. The variables in this study were Classroom environment, planning, cognitive mediation strategies, emotional mediation strategies, assessment strategies and teaching resources, all this variables get high validity and reliability. Implications related to the teaching profile and the strategies drive the real profiles of teachers in universities are discussed. |
