| Abstract | The objective of the thesis was to determine the relationship between the role of the teacher and environmental conservation according to secondary students at "Manuel González Prada" school UGEL 06 – 2016. The method used was hypothetical-deductive method, the type of research was descriptive correlational and non-experimental, transverse design. The population was composed by 219 students and the statistical sample by 134 students of the seventh cycle of the secondary level at "Manuel González Prada" school UGEL 06 – 2016. The methodology of the research obeys to the quantitative type, where a Likert-type questionnaire was used as a data collection instrument. Also, after carrying out the research, applying the instruments and performing the statistical processing, the following conclusion was reached: There is a direct and significant relationship between the Role of the teacher and Environmental Conservation according to secondary students at“Manuel Gonzales Prada” school UGEL 06 2016, with a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.694 and a p = 0,000 lower value at the 0.05 level, the alternative hypothesis is accepted and the null hypothesis is rejected, confirming the relationship between the analyzed variables. Therefore, it is considered that students have provided valuable information to have constituted an advance in environmental teaching materials, the implementation of environmental policies and programs of environmental teaching materials at the level studied |
