| Abstract | DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/2175-8077.2012v14n33p68 This article aims to identify the profile of the brazilian Judiciary Reform, by examining the process of state reform. In this sense, the focus of the study was to identify the process of replacing the bureaucratic model for the management, implemented in the Brazilian public administration since 1995, trying to transplant it to the judicial management. In this sense, the paper noted that the National Council of Justice has exercised in this process and the logic of the plan goals of the institution, seeking to describe the bias of this reform. The results showed that sought to implement the goals established for more effective management in the strategic core of the state, with emphasis on promptness. Thus, the managerial logic exercised great influence in the new management model adopted with a view that the guidelines of the reform focused on the strategic objectives of this power and not the fiscal logic, predominantly economistic. It should be noted that not intend to exhaust the subject, however, is necessary to create a framework for debate, to discuss the consequences of adopting this model in the management of the judiciary and its consequences for Brazilian society. |
