| Abstract | La formacion laboral e investigativa de los estudiantes en las carreras pedagogicas en general y en la de Educacion Matematica en particular, debe sustentarse, desde el punto de vista filosofico, en uno de los principios fundamentales de la teoria dialectico–materialista, el de vinculacion de la teoria con la practica y en uno de los principios de la teoria marxista del conocimiento, el principio de la practica social. Estos dos principios, unidos al principio martiano del vinculo del estudio y el trabajo, considerado este ultimo, como uno de los principios rectores de la Educacion Superior Cubana, le imprimen a la formacion laboral e investigativa una connotacion diferente que rebasa el caracter tradicionalmente aplicacionista de la practica para considerarla como punto de partida y objeto final del conocimiento. La practica preprofesional que desarrollan los estudiantes de la carrera bajo esta concepcion, debe transitar desde la descripcion, pasando por la confrontacion, reconceptualizacion, hasta llegar a la aplicacion e innovacion. En este trabajo, sobre la base de estas premisas basicas, se propone una concepcion para la practica laboral investigativa de la carrera Licenciatura en Educacion Matematica, la cual incluye tres niveles formativos. ABSTRACT The labor and research training of students in pedagogical careers in general and in Mathematics Education in particular must be supported, from the philosophical point of view, in one of the fundamental principles of dialectical - materialist theory, that of linking Theory with practice and in one of the principles of Marxist theory of knowledge, the principle of social practice. These two principles, together with the Marti principle of the link between study and work, which considered as one of the guiding principles of Cuban higher education, give a different connotation to labor and research formation that goes beyond the traditional application of the practice to consider it as starting point and final object of knowledge. The pre - professional practice that the students of the career develop under this conception, must pass from the description, passing through the confrontation - reconceptualization, until arriving at the application and innovation. Based on these basic premises, a conception proposed for the research work practice of the Degree in Mathematics Education, which includes three levels of education.
