| Abstract | In Colombia, where from the total of the companies only 1% are large, It is necessary to give importance to small and medium companies that are dotted along the country's economy. Looking at the mortality rates of these companies a warning must be made, in order to take control of their organization, entrepreneurs should keep their monitoring of the competitors and the market in which they operate, this monitoring throw signals that can be interpreted as alerts, so they can anticipate problems through organizational restructurings, designing strategic plans or modifying which they are already running. In this research a proposal for structuring the platform of strategic planning based on the Balanced Scorecard is given, because the company Distriacero Figurado in its thirteen years of existence does not have one, this proposal is intended to give the company a strategy that would result in the Balanced Scorecard where management indicators will allow this company to its preparation to face the changes of the market environment ensuring its sustainability. in this proposal, we made a strategic planning by using tools for strategic assessment of the current situation of the company, tools to plan strategy and, as a last, the Balanced Scorecard where the planned strategy was reflected. key words: strategic diagnosis, strategic planning, balanced scorecard, indicators, strategic map. |
