Abstract	Cikampek KHDTK is a forested area functioned as forest research and development site. Recently, this area serves not only as forest research and development site, but also as public recreation park. Area utilization as public recreation park has caused several problems. The area manager responds this dynamics with stating discourses on nature tourism development and environmental education. This area development is aimed to organize respective area, also to increase community’s income. This area potential are as follows: it is the largest RTH in Karawang Regency and become urban forest substitution, good public perception on the area, exotic foreign trees, and accessible location. Nature tourism development and environmental education planning accomodating stakeholder’s need and want. Stakeholders involved are Pusprohut, Dinas Kebudayaan dan Pariwisata, academician, and community. Government has strategic role in planning, especially in policy-making. Academician becomes the consultant, while community contribute ideas and consideration through meeting or discussion with planners.
