| Abstract | De nombreux pays ont entrepris, depuis le debut des annees 1990, diverses politiques scolaires pour assurer un meilleur apprentissage des eleves. Dans le cas du Quebec, il y a eu plusieurs reformes dont celle relative au partage des pouvoirs entre plusieurs paliers scolaires (comme le projet de loi n°180) et l’obligation de resultats imposee par le ministere de l’Education, du Loisir et du Sport. L’objectif principal de ces nouvelles pratiques de gestion consiste a concentrer les activites et les ressources sur les elements essentiels en lien avec les missions poursuivies. Cet article propose les premisses d’un cadre conceptuel integre de la gestion axee sur les resultats en education en mettant en relief les dimensions cles dont une meilleure articulation contribuerait a ameliorer les resultats scolaires. Il s’agit des dimensions environnementale, pedagogique et administrative de l’etablissement. RESULTS-BASED MANAGEMENT IN EDUCATION: OUTLINE OF A CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK ADAPTED TO THE FIELD OF EDUCATION Many countries have undertaken various school policies since the beginning of the 1990s to ensure better student learning. In the case of Quebec, there have been several reforms, including that relating to the division of powers between several levels of education (such as The Bill/Law No. 180) and the obligation of results imposed by the ministere de l’Education, du Loisir et du Sport. The main objective of these new management practices is to focus on activities and resources on the essential elements related to the missions pursued. This article proposes the premises of an integrated conceptual framework for results-based management in education, highlighting the key dimensions of a better articulation would contribute to improving educational outcomes. These are the environmental, educational, and administrative dimensions of the institution. |
