Abstract	espanolEl objetivo de esta investigacion fue disenar, construir y validar una escala para medir el acoso cibernetico o cyberbullying en un ambiente laboral. El diseno que se utilizo fue el cuantitativo, no experimental y transversal; y el metodo de investigacion se baso en la Teoria de Respuesta al Reactivo. Esta investigacion produjo una escala validada con una muestra del ambiente laboral en Puerto Rico. Se realizaron tres analisis: validez de contenido, analisis de confiabilidad del coeficiente alfa de Cronbach y validez de constructo tipo divergente. A traves del analisis de los resultados, se concluyo que la escala es util para lo que fue disenada. El construir una escala que mida el cyberbullying contribuyo al diseno de nuevos instrumentos y a la revision de los ya existentes. Ademas, sirve de base para futuras investigaciones relacionadas con el tema del cyberbullying. EnglishThe objective of this study was to design, construct, and validate a scale to measure cyberbullying in a work environment. The design used was quantitative, not experimental, and transversal. The research method was based on the Reactive Response Theory. This research produced a validated scale with a sample of the work environment in Puerto Rico. Three analyses were performed: content validity, reliability analysis of the Cronbach alpha coefficient, and the divergent type construct validity. Based on the analysis of the results, the scale was deemed to be useful for the purpose it was designed. Building a scale that measures cyberbullying contributes to the design of new instruments and the revision of existing ones; furthermore, it may serve as the basis for future re- search related to the topic of cyberbullying.
