Abstract	En este articulo se muestra un estudio relacionado con la terminologia que se emplea en el argot y la literatura cientifica de las competencias de programacion. Se comparan los terminos de ejercicio con texto y problema, teniendo en cuenta su esencia en el contexto de las competencias de programacion. Durante este proceso, se explica la naturaleza de este fenomeno, basado en la experiencia de la comunidad cientifica y de los investigadores de este trabajo. Sustentado en la teoria de la resolucion de problemas, se muestran ademas, algunas caracteristicas del proceso de resolucion de problemas de programacion de naturaleza algoritmica, tipo concursos de informatica de estudiantes de preuniversitario. DIGRESSIONS ABOUT THE PROBLEM SOLVING OF PROGRAMMING CONTESTS ABSTRACT This paper presents a study related to the terminology used in the argot and scientific literature of the programming contests. The terms, exercise with text and problem are compared, taking into account its essence in the context of programming contests. During this process, the nature of this phenomenon is explained, based on the experience of the scientific community and of the researchers of this study. Based on the theory of problem solving, this paper also show some characteristics of the process of programming problem solving of algorithmic nature, kind of informatic contests of precollege students.
