| Abstract | The present research work is based on the design of a quality system based on Good Livestock Practices for the Nina Bonita touristic and agricultural farm. Located in the city of Cotacachi, province of Imbabura, which within its agricultural productive activities are the production of meat and milk through the management of different livestock species. The work begins by diagnosing the current conditions in which the production systems are located through the use of a verification checklist of Good Livestock Practices that is found as an annex in Resolution 041 on AGROCALIDAD, tools are also used as (cause-effect diagram, Pareto diagram, matrix diagram and the house of quality) that help reinforce the analysis from different perspectives, this way, being able to find the critical points that have a negative impact on the production of the farm. As a result of the analysis process mentioned above, priority points are found to solve the lack of control in the biosecurity of the farm, the need to standardize production processes, improve the management of human talent, and establish a manual traceability of processes and the non-observance of the environmental law to eliminate waste. Finally, taking into consideration the aforementioned points, the necessary measures are established to improve them considering the reality of the farm, establishing measures to be implemented in a short term and then carry out the respective procedures with AGROCALIDAD so that it is granted the certification of Good Livestock Practices when the senior management of the Farm considers it prudent because in the country the application of Good Livestock Practices is voluntary. |
