| Abstract | This article summarizes the most significant excerpts from the thesis submitted for the Masters Program in Political Studies. It explores the debates that arise in Colombia due to the confrontation between the Neoliberal Development Model still being applied in Colombia and the Political Constitution issued in 1991, which has a very indulging tone. This study is theoretically supported by the understanding of the State forms and the contemporary crisis of the Nation-State, by the development theories and in the evolution of the constitution in Colombia since the first half of the Twentieth Century. It deepens in the characteristics that, in the 90s, made a turn towards the search for a Social Right State and a Neoliberal State at the same time. |
