| Abstract | espanolEl presente estudio aborda el analisis de diversas representaciones mentales de una situacion descrita en un problema matematico que construyeron estudiantes de primero y segundo grado de secundaria. Desde una perspectiva psicolinguistica, conocida como Marco del Experimentador Inmerso (MEI), se modifico un problema verbal existente. Esa version modificada fue presentada a los estudiantes y se les pidio que dibujaran la situacion descrita en el problema. El MEI nos permitio analizar las diversas representaciones realizadas por los estudiantes. Los resultados del analisis revelan la forma en que los estudiantes monitorearon algunas dimensiones del modelo situacional durante el proceso de comprension textual del problema.. EnglishThe present study deals with the analysis of various mental representations of a situation described in a mathematical problem that have been constructed by the first and second year students of middle school. From a psycholinguistic perspective, known as Immersed Experiencer Framework (IEF), an existing word problem was modified. That modified version was presented to the students and they were asked to draw the situation described in the problem. The IEF allowed us to analyze the various representations made by students. The results of analysis reveal the way in which students monitor certain aspects of the situation model during reading comprehension of the problem. |
