| Abstract | E tarefa da educacao infantil contemplar as multiplas dimensoes do processo de desenvolvimento da crianca. Nesse sentido, a intervencao do profissional que trabalha com criancas de 0 a 6 anos deve auxiliar no seu processo de constituicao, pois este produz o carater historico do homem. E nesse carater humano-historico, certamente, esta incluida a dimensao sexualidade. Portanto, necessario se faz libertar o ser das marcas repressoras construidas pela historicidade e registrar a importância da dialetica, a fim de compreender a realidade como um processo, com perspectivas de mudancas abertas para novas visoes e conceitos, priorizando a construcao de um paradigma emancipatorio de vida para meninos e meninas. A sexualidade precisa ser desvelada e analisada no interior de todo o contexto educativo, para que todas as pessoas, desde a mais tenra idade, sejam vistas como seres em plenitude no processo permanente de construcao de uma cidadania sempre sexuada. It is the function of early childhood education to contemplate the multiple dimensions of the development process of children. Thus, the intervention of professionals who work with children from 0 to 6 years old must help in the process of their constitution as a whole, because it is this process that produces the historical character of human beings. Sexuality is certainly part of this human-historical character. It is therefore necessary to liberate people from the repression left by history, and to register the importance of the dialectic, in order to understand reality as a changing process that is open to new visions and concepts. This perspective emphasizes the importance of constructing an emancipatory paradigm for boys and girls. Sexuality must be discovered and analyzed within a complete educational context, so that all people, from early ages, can be seen as complete beings in a permanent process of the construction of a citizenship that always has a sexual element.
