Abstract	Consideramos que la prevencion de las adicciones en las instituciones no es un acto sino un proceso en permanente cambio y reformulacion, a traves de la reflexion en grupos y con plena participacion. El desafio de la prevencion de las adicciones en los claustros universitarios demanda generar estrategias multiples con todos los actores involucrados. Se presenta una propuesta de investigacion, que se desarrolla en la Facultad de Ciencias Humanas de la UNSL, acerca del conocimiento de las adicciones y del riesgo de los comportamientos adictivos en estudiantes y docentes universitarios. Nos interesa conocer la concepcion sobre las adicciones, el conocimiento de los efectos y las consecuencias que conllevan estos comportamientos. El aporte que ambos claustros puedan realizar para contribuir en la prevencion de las adicciones se integrara a una propuesta institucional que se aplicara en el ambito universitario. Se informa acerca de los objetivos, la metodologia y los procedimientos utilizados. PREVENTION OF ADDICTIONS IN THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY The prevention of addictions at institutions is considered a process which is permanently changing and reformulating and which has to be reflected upon in wide participative groups. The challenge of addiction prevention in the university community demands to generate multiple strategies with all the actors involved. This work presents a research proposal on the information about addictions and the risk of addictive behaviors university students and teaching staff have. It is carried out at the Faculty of Human Sciences of National University of San Luis and it is focused on the conception of addictions, the awareness of their effects and the consequences these behaviors bring about. The contributions of both groups -university students and teaching staff- will be added to an institutional proposal to be applied in the university community. The objectives, methodology and procedures used are also put forward. Key words Addictions University Teaching Staff
