EnglishThe present paper focuses on Alexander Monro´s (primus) "The Anatomy of the Humane Bones" (1726), which was a major contribution to the field of osteology, a subdiscipline of anatomy, over the course of the eighteenth-century. The main objective is to study "Traite d´Osteologie" (1759), the solely French version of the aforementioned work, signed by Jean-Joseph Sue but genuinely translated by Mme Thiroux d´Arconville. |
