Description	Journal: Physics Bulletin Undeterred by the government's decision last year to put the proposal for a Design Council on ice (Physics Bulletin December 1970 p530), the Council of Industrial Design has set up an engineering design advisory committee 'as a step towards the establishment of a national Design Council'. The chairman of the advisory committee is Mr GBR Fielden, Director General of the British Standards Institution, whose name is associated with the Fielden report on engineering design of 1963.
