Description	Journal: Physics Bulletin The title of the recent meeting of the South Western Branch on 'Problems of collaboration between academic and industrial physicists' (see the report in the March 1968 Bulletin) prompts me to make the following comments. There is, of course, much searching discussion of the need for cooperation between industry and colleges.
