Description	Journal: Physics Bulletin In his comments on the employment of graduate physicists in the January 1970 issue of Physics Bulletin (p2), Dr R T Parker emphasized his belief that there is a lack of physicists with classical physics training in production processes or in industrial research. I imagine that he has chosen the word 'training' carefully to stress that he doesn't just mean undergraduate studies in classical physics which cannot necessarily of themselves produce the sort of person that he is looking for.
