Description	Since 2010, the School of Architecture of the University of A Coruña (ETSAC) has implemented the use of parametric tools for the study and analysis of building structures. Students in the subject of “Structural Design”, located in the fifth year of the degree entitled to exercise the profession of Architect “Degree in Architecture” work intensively throughout the course with open source applications of parametric analysis. The students acquire throughout the course the competences and skills necessary to carry out the strategies for generating the analytical structural model of different tensegrity and reciprocal structures. The availability in ETSAC FABLAB of digital manufacturing tools allows students to create scale models that, as a starting point, must behave dynamically by simulating the actual behavior of the structure.
