| Description | In smart industries, automated guided vehicle (AGV) has become a top-notch automated material handling technology of a flexible manufacturing system which is the more adaptable, accurate, capable, efficient, versatile and secured medium of node interconnection. AGV's are the unmanned vehicle which maneuvers on pre-defined guide path in a warehouse to transport goods among different workstation. This vehicle automatically performs loading, route selection, vehicle speed, and unloading. AGV system is integrated mainly by a central controller, paths an electronic communication mechanism and routing strategies. In the present paper, the design for the attaching mechanism of trolleys for transportation of unit load has been proposed. The gripping mechanism drags the trolleys from their pick-up center to respective delivery centers.
