| Description | Monitoring of the carrot rust fly Psila rosae (L.) in open polder areas can be useful for developing supervised control in carrot growing. In this way, application of insecticides can be avoided on a considerable part of the carrot fields. Catches of Psila rosae were correlated with distances from high objects in the landscape and with percentages of infested carrots. Book Name: Progress on Pest Management in Field Vegetables |
