| Description | Immersed tube tunnel has a trend application with increasing recent years in China. The earliest immersed tunnel has operated about 6 years. The present measured results show that there is a trend with no stop for settlement of some elements. People who administer this tunnel want to know the long-term settlement. In this paper, a settlement prediction method was proposed based on in-situ measurement and rheology model. Then, the models to stimulate time-dependent deformation were discussed and optimized based on the measurement values. After considering their different character that was closely related with the markedly different settlement, the foundation is divided into several parts. The visco-elastic back-analysis method was employed to calculate their visco-elastic parameters of soil in a certain tube using the measurement settlement during recent years. Lastly, the subsequent settlements can be predicted with the back-analyzed parameters. It was turned out that the method was suitable to analysis the long-term settlement of immersed tube tunnel.
