| Description | With the demand for coordination polymers (CPs) to prevent corrosion, highly sustainable CPs with customized structures and specific functions are in increasing demand. The CPs have emerged as an ideal material in corrosion technology that provides many technical advantages and sustainable routes towards corrosion as inhibitors and surface coating materials. This chapter presents the supramolecular aspects of selected CPks synthesis, molecular structure, and the properties of the materials. The reported CPs have been primarily categorized with regard to covalent and noncovalent interactions; and their role in the resulting architecture. Important structural information, as well as notable properties such as nature of coordination, coordination number, interactions, and geometry, is also highlighted.
