Description	Although difficult to diagnose, Rocky Mountain spotted fever is easy to treat and responds rapidly and completely to therapy within the first 5 days of clinical disease. However, prompt diagnosis and initiation of therapy is essential to avoid complications that can lead to death. Dr Fischer presents a plan for when to consider, how to diagnose, and how to treat this condition.
