Description	Decision-making in construction management often takes place in complex and dynamic environment. In this environment, construction project managers and engineers have to consider and evaluate various attributes prior to making any decisions. As such, a wide range of multicriteria decision-making (MCDM) methods has been employed in construction management. Among these methods, the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and hybrid methods like fuzzy AHP (FAHP) have received substantial attention in the construction management research and practice. The typical construction management domains that have applied FAHP include (1) project site selection; (2) contractor selection and bid evaluation; (3) selection of construction means and methods; (4) construction risk analysis and assessment; and (5) other emerging areas such as project complexity modeling. This chapter presents the applications of FAHP in construction decision-making and illustrates one of these applications in measuring project complexity in detail. This chapter provides practitioners with knowledge to determine when and how FAHP can be used to support and defend their decisions. For researchers, this chapter will provide a comprehensive review of FAHP that can serve as a point of departure for investigating the possible applications of FAHP in their relevant research areas.
