The biggest challenge of the 21st century is a huge amount of energy demand and supply. Energy harvesting devices, such as solar cells, low power consumption, and efficient lightning devices, light emitting laser diode, laser controlled devices, and energy stored devices based on 0D nanomaterials will be played a major role to resolve this toughest demand of energy in future life. Therefore, 0D nanomaterials have been attracted intense attention of material researchers to develop various types of 0D nanomaterials with suitable, optical, electronic, and electrical properties for manufacturing of advanced optoelectronic device applications. This chapter describes the classification of nanomaterials and growth techniques discussed in brief of nanomaterials. Afterward, this chapter focuses on the development of 0D nanomaterials by various techniques and demonstrates the potential applications of 0D nanomaterials for optoelectronic applications in recent trends.
