Description	The United Nations created the 2030 agenda for Sustainable Development to eradicate poverty in all forms around the world. The inclusion of the Sustainable Development Goals is vital in the planning and development of Idenau municipality. How officials, community-based organizations, underwriters, and funders tackle the issues can set apart Idenau as an example of how to build a safer and cleaner community in resource-limited settings. For the context of the Idenau municipality, several SDGs are particularly relevant. Idenau communities are suffering from health problems due to lack of access to clean water, lack of proper sanitation, and inadequate housing infrastructure in the community. A majority of the current population in Idenau is currently living on $1.90/day or less. Flooding remains a considerable problem in Idenau due to deforestation, poor drainage systems, and changes in weather patterns. Due to poor knowledge of forest laws, there is a vast industry of illegal exploitation of timber and logging of forest areas for farming activities, which causes seasonal changes which in turn affect the agricultural industry.
