It urges that China needs a strategy of global governance, and then it discusses how to positively lead reform on global governance reform and encourage social forces to participate in this governance. Besides, it introduces participation in agenda setting and rule=making in global governance. In doing so, the author claims that China should strengthen its cultural attractiveness and cooperation with other countries to confront global challenges.This chapter discusses the relation between global governance and the construction of a new world order. The chapter introduces participation in agenda setting and rule-making in global governance. It explains that China should strengthen its cultural attractiveness and cooperation with other countries to confront global challenges. With G20 summit, a permanent feature in global governance since 2008, China has been at the center of global economic power, but her ability to set agenda in global governance, to make new rules is not adequate. In July 2014, BRICS leaders gathered in Brazil, and formalized decisions were made at previous summits in South Africa and India to establish the BRICS Development Bank and Emergency Fund.
