| Description | A number of 2-methyl/ethyl-3-hydroxy-4(1H)-pyridinones have been synthesized by reacting with 4-pyrones and primary aromatic amines in ethanol. Their structures were confirmed by microanalysis, IR and$ ^{1}$H-NMR spectral analysis. Possible analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities of the synthesized compounds were investigated by acetic acid-induced writhing and carrageenan rat paw edema tests. All compounds exhibited higher analgesic activities than acetylsalicylic acid. 1-(2-Piperidinoethyl)-2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4-(1H)-pyridinone · 2HBr (1), l-[2-(1-methyl-3-hydroxy-4(1H)-pyridinone · 2HBr (3) and 1-[2-(1-ethyl-3-hydroxy-4(1H)-pyridinone · 2HBr (6) showed higher anti-inflammatory activities than indometacin. Neue 4(1H)-Pyridinon-Derivate mit analgetischer Wirkung Mehrere 2-Methyl/ethyl-3-hydroxy-4(1H)-pyridinone wurden durch Reaktion mit 4-Pyronen und primären aromatischen Aminen in Ethanol synthetisiert. Ihre Strukturen wurden mittels Mikroanalyse sowie IR- und$ ^{1}$H-NMR-spektrometrisch bestätigt. Die potentiellen analgetischen und entzündungshemmenden Wirkungen der synthetisierten Substanzen wurden im Essigsäure-induzierten Writhing-Test und am Carrageenin-induzierten Rattenpfotenödem evaluiert. Alle Verbindungen zeigten höhere analgetische Aktivität als Acetylsalicylsäure. 1-(2-Piperidinoethyl)-2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4(1H)-pyridinon · 2 HB r (1 ), 1 - [ 2 - 1 - Me th yl - p y rr o l i di n - 2 y l ) - ethyl]-2-methyl-3-hydroxy-4(1H)-pyridinon · 2 Hbr (3) und 1-[2-[1-Methyl-pyrrolidin-2yl)- ethyl]-2-ethyl-3-hydroxy-4(1H)-pyridinon · 2 HBr (6) zeigten höhere entzündungshemmende Aktivität als Indometacin. |
