| Abstract | Après la faible croissance de la première partie des années 2000, la performance économique plus récente est encourageante. La reprise qui a débuté en 2005 s’est accélérée les deux années suivantes grâce à l’exportation et le déficit budgétaire a été ramené à un niveau plus viable. Pourtant, l’écart de revenu et de productivité par rapport aux pays à revenu élevé de la zone de l’OCDE reste marqué et s’est creusé. La croissance actuelle du PIB n’est pas suffisante pour que puisse être rattrapé le niveau de vie des pays plus riches de l’OCDE. Malgré les nombreuses mesures structurelles mises en oeuvre ces dernières années, il faudrait intensifier la réforme structurelle pour améliorer durablement la croissance de l’économie portugaise. L’objectif devrait être que l’économie soit mieux à même de s’adapter sans heurts aux évolutions de l’environnement international et il faudrait aussi tirer parti des nouvelles possibilités qu’offre la mondialisation. On commentera dans ce chapitre les trois principaux défis que le Portugal doit relever pour accélérer sa croissance : i) consolider le rythme d’assainissement budgétaire pour se doter de solides finances publiques, condition préalable à une croissance économique durable ; ii) tirer parti au maximum de la mondialisation et faciliter l’ajustement au nouvel environnement économique ; iii) réformer le marché du travail et valoriser le capital humain, afin de favoriser les créations d’emplois et de faire reculer durablement le chômage en une période de profonde transformation structurelle. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
