| Abstract | Tirés par une solide croissance de la demande d’importation émanant des pays en développement, les prix internationaux des produits laitiers ont fortement augmenté tout au long de l’année 2010 et jusqu’au début du premier semestre 2011, culminant à des niveaux proches de ceux observés lors de la flambée des prix des produits de base de 2007/08. Une forte rentabilité et d’excellentes conditions de pâturage en Océanie et dans certaines parties de l’Amérique du Sud ont suscité une réaction de l’offre qui a fait chuter les prix. Cette baisse des prix s’est poursuivie jusqu’au second semestre de 2012. Elle s’est accompagnée d’une expansion du volume des exportations. La demande continuant d’augmenter, surtout en Chine, les prix se sont stabilisés à des niveaux nettement supérieurs à ceux atteints lors de la précédente période de baisse de 2009. Les sécheresses de 2012 aux États-Unis et dans la Fédération de Russie ont fait monter les prix des céréales et conduit à un ralentissement de la croissance de la production laitière aux États-Unis et dans l’Union européenne ainsi qu’à une hausse des prix des produits laitiers. Le redressement des prix s’est intensifié au début de 2013, l’annonce de conditions météorologiques beaucoup plus sèches en Océanie ayant commencé à affecter les attentes du marché quant à la disponibilité des produits. La situation de l’offre est tendue à court terme, mais elle devrait s’améliorer à moyen terme dans des conditions météorologiques normales, ce qui devrait maintenir les prix à des niveaux moins élevés qu’en 2011. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
