| Abstract | Cette année, la préparation des Perspectives agricoles s’est déroulée dans un contexte tout à fait inhabituel. Les turbulences financières déclenchées par les problèmes de crédits immobiliers à risque aux États-Unis ont abouti à une crise dans ce secteur après l’éclatement de la bulle des prix ; l’étape suivante a été une sérieuse raréfaction du crédit, qui s’est répercutée sur l’économie réelle de nombreux pays des différentes régions du monde. Cette évolution a mis fin à l’illusion d’un découplage entre les économies occidentales en récession et les pays émergents. La mondialisation, caractérisée par l’extension des chaînes logistiques et la croissance des flux financiers, a créé un univers de plus en plus interdépendant où tous les pays semblent maintenant liés. Les résultats sont une baisse de la production et une montée du chômage à l’échelle globale, qui ébranlent la confiance des consommateurs, tout en faisant chuter les échanges et les mouvements de capitaux internationaux. Au moment de la rédaction, c’est-à-dire en avril 2009, l’économie mondiale se trouve au milieu de la récession la plus forte et la plus étendue depuis plus de cinquante ans. L’effondrement de la production industrielle des six derniers mois se poursuit dans la quasi-totalité des pays de l’OCDE ; comme les pays non membres de l’OCDE connaissent aussi un ralentissement, l’activité mondiale s’est mise à fléchir. En outre, nul ne sait si le pire est passé et quelle sera la rapidité de la reprise finale. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
