| Abstract | La fréquentation des transports publics n’a cessé de baisser dans les grandes villes coréennes avec la hausse du taux de motorisation. Les transports publics ont perdu leur avantage concurrentiel par rapport aux voitures particulières, les individus ayant tendance à privilégier des modes de transport plus commodes quand leurs revenus augmentent. Un moyen prometteur d’inverser cette tendance est de proposer des modes de transport plus commodes en termes de temps de trajet et de qualité. En Corée, on s’est efforcé d’accroître l’attractivité des transports publics, notamment en réduisant les temps de trajet et en augmentant le nombre de places assises. Le présent document évalue ex post les impacts de ces mesures et compare les résultats avec ceux obtenus lors d’une analyse quantitative ex ante de l’efficacité de ces mesures. La principale conséquence de l’analyse empirique pour l’action publique est que l’amélioration du niveau de commodité des transports publics peut constituer un moyen efficace d’accroître leur fréquentation. La réduction des temps de trajet des transports publics, obtenue en augmentant la vitesse ou en diminuant les intervalles, et l’amélioration des niveaux de qualité font partie des mesures pour y parvenir. Suite à la réforme du système de transports publics de Séoul, qui a contribué à réduire les temps de trajet grâce à l’introduction de couloirs médians réservés aux bus et à l’instauration d’une tarification intégrée, on a effectivement constaté une progression de la fréquentation des transports publics. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
