Abstract	L’enquête de l’OCDE sur le comportement des ménages a été réalisée via Internet, solution rentable et riche en possibilités pour la collecte de données à grande échelle1. Un institut de sondage (Lightspeed Research) a été chargé de recueillir les réponses au questionnaire fournies en ligne par ses panels de consommateurs dans plusieurs pays. L’OCDE a soigneusement sélectionné la société de sondage afin de réduire les problèmes qui peuvent être liés aux enquêtes en ligne, notamment les échantillons biaisés, les répondants professionnels et les réponses superficielles. La taille, la sélection, la gestion et la représentativité du panel utilisé par la société de sondage ont donc été minutieusement vérifiées. Notamment, les règles adoptées pour gérer le panel – par exemple les modalités utilisées pour motiver les répondants et le nombre maximum d’enquêtes auxquelles les panélistes peuvent participer chaque année – ont été étudiées de près.
