Abstract	Le présent rapport a retracé l’historique de l’alerte précoce, examiné la gamme des outils actuellement disponibles en la matière et passé en revue les différents systèmes opérationnels, évalué les performances de certains mécanismes/ instruments de réponse précoce/rapide, et abordé la questions des orientations futures. Comment la situation se présente-t-elle ? Que peut-on en conclure en ce qui concerne les questions fondamentales soulevées dans cette étude ? Sur quels aspects faudra-t-il axer les travaux à l’avenir ? Quel devrait être le rôle du CAD et de ses membres à cet égard ? Telles sont les questions auxquelles cette dernière section tente de répondre.
