Abstract	In this paper, cortical control of virtual cursor was investigated by means of support vector machine (SVM). In SVM, the training inputs of the regression estimation are firing rates of neuronal ensembles in motor and premotor cortex, and the outputs are trajectories of virtual cursors. The regression results prove that the SVM is effective and available for simulation.
