Abstract	Operation of a personal computer (PC) results in input current distortion, i.e. it generates current harmonics to the grid. As PCs are more and more grouped, its joint harmonics emission attracts interest of many researchers. Results show that input current total harmonic distortion (THDI) is decreasing as number of PCs in a group is increasing. However, for a certain number of PCs the THDI enters kind of saturation, i.e. the THDI have a steady value regardless of further PC number increase. The paper is presenting an investigation of this effect. It has been shown that saturation point depends on DC side capacitor size in power supply unit of the PC. The point is between 54 PCs, for high C sizes (630 µF) up to 91, for low C sizes. In steady state, the THDI takes the values between 28% (for low C sizes) up to 37% (for high C sizes). Such conclusion is very convenient for forecasting the THDI values in cases of planning of PC cluster enlargement.
