Abstract	Many studies reported various e-health service systems. We considered mobile device based e-health service system and application using portable ECG sensor and mental stress measuring questionnaire. Recently, a stress response inventory (SRI) questionnaire has been devised to score personal events occurred during the past two weeks that may influence the status of mental stress levels. However, high cost of the service is a serious problem, so we tried to develop low cost e-health service model without accuracy decrease using relation of heart rate and SRI scores. Therefore, we sought to identify mental stress factors in the SRI questionnaire that were associated with heart rate changes. Multiple regression analysis was performed to detect subsets of SRI questions that showed significant relationships with heart rates (p-value <0.1). Utilizing the association between heart rates and SRI scores, we propose cost minimized e-health service system based on father-son model. This model could be used in identifying the mental stress factors causing heart rate changes in a mobile application.
