Abstract	As the information Webs proliferate, networks are experiencing increased threats of intrusion and compromise of data integrity. The Caribbean consists of vibrant island economies and has well developed banking, hospitality, sports, entertainment and a significant presence of multinational Corporations. This sector of economy dictates the deployment of all emerging computing and information technologies. Another significant sector is the rural agricultural based economy that can potentially accept lesser sophistication in information development and exchange in the short run. The corresponding security challenges are different for these two sectors. The security challenges are in the definition and deployment of a robust architecture. The architecture discussed needs to be adapted to an individual business, education, or government entities. Within a given organization, appropriate linkages with the business processes needs to be meshed with the security architecture. The focus is to define a unified security architecture and some potential implementation scenarios.
