| Abstract | The numerical modeling is carried out for research of major factors of load and physical-mechanical characteristics at impulse pressure processing of metals and alloys, in particular to impulse magnetic field (IMF), for decreasing a porosity arising in master schedules of manufacturing of parts. The full model of mechanics of a deformed solid in bivariate and axisymmetrical statement is used at a numerical modeling. Amplitude and valid time of impulsive load are major factors, which influence closing of fractures of pores. A fractional porosity and dynamic yield strength of metal or alloy determine the amplitude of load. The momentum of pressure in a zone of a pore (I/sub /spl Pi//) is the characteristic of process of closing of fractures of pores irrespective of a way of pulse processing. The momentum of pressure in a zone of a pore has extreme value. The maximum rating of value I/sub /spl Pi// meets to minimum load indispensable for the achievement of full closing of the fractures of pores. Thus, this property can be used for statement of problems of optimization. With the help of numerical calculations and the optimizations for an impulse forming of metals and alloys, in particular by pressure of IMP, the nomographs of definition of demanded technological modes taking into account properties of metals and alloys and parameters of processing can be executed. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is built to provide support for all academic levels including researchers and life-long learners, all disciplines, all popular forms of access devices and differently-abled learners. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
