| Abstract | Fibers are used not only as clothes but also as various industrial materials. In particular, the usage of fibrous cloth coated by PVC resin is high and their usage spans a wide range . During the process of manufacturing products such as cloth coated by PVC, a large quantity of cut waste was generated by the industry. However, because of lack of effective recycling technique, most of these wastes are currently destroyed by fire or buried underground. With the goals of protecting the environment, the material recyclability of cut waste of glass fabrics coated by PVC as a raw material for injection molding of PVC composite with glass fiber was investigated in an earlier paper. However, during the injection molding process, there is a danger of hydrogen chloride gas being produced from the melted PVC sheet. This gas will causes the corrosion of the heating barrel of the injection molding machine. Therefore, the establishment of a method for protecting the system from the from the occurrence of the hydrogen chloride is needed. In this research, halogen scavenger and metallic soap were added to the glass/PVC recycle pellets to protect the occurrence of the hydrogen chloride gas during the recycling molding process, and the properties of specimens obtained by the injection molding method are discussed. |

National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI is designed to hold content of any language and provides interface support for 10 most widely used Indian languages. It is designed to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources. It is developed, operated and maintained from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur.
