Abstract	This paper examines the impact of job involvement, job satisfaction and organizational commitment on propensity to leave a job. Using a stratified random sampling procedure, survey questionnaires are administered to 116 Information Systems (IS) personnel working in multinational companies in Malaysia. Results show that IS personnel's job involvement is positively associated with organizational commitment. Likewise, job satisfaction has a positive relationship on organizational commitment. Employees' organizational commitment also significantly influences their propensity to leave a job. The findings of this study are discussed in the light of previous evidence. This paper concludes with a discussion of implications and directions for future studies for IS research.
