| Abstract | [Objective] To study the effects of the acid-washing on the characteristics of sunflower stalk pyrolysis, and search the efficient catalyst for biomass pyrolysis, [Method] pyrolysis experiments of HCL-washed sunflower stalk were performed by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) at five different heating rates. [Result] The results showed the pyrolysis process of HCL-washed sunflower stalk can be separated into four stages. Every DTG (differential thermogravimetric) curve appears a clear shoulder peak. With the heating rate increasing, the main pyrolysis zone of the TG (thermogravimetric) and DTG curves move to the high-temperature direction, and the maximum pyrolysis rate and its corresponding temperature increase too. HCL-washed makes the weight loss rate of the final temperature increase significantly, and is conducive to the formation of volatile. [Conclusion] The method of Satava inferred the most possible mechanism function of HCL-washed sunflower stalk is Avrami-Erofeev equation, which is a random nucleation and later growth, whose reaction order is 3. |
