Abstract	In this paper, there are presented the investigations of the piezo- and pyroelectric properties for BaTiO/sub 3//PMMA and PZT/PMMA composites (0-3 connectivity). Samples of these materials have been obtained by polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) where the fine particles of BaTiO/sub 3/ and PZT were dispersed. The piezoelectric constants (d, and g) ware measured by well-known static method, whereas the pyroelectric coefficient (p) by so-called quasi-static direct method. These parameters and, moreover, the figure of merit for piezoelectricity (d/sub h/g/sub h/) and pyroelectricity (p//spl epsi/') in dependence on volume fraction of the BaTiO/sub 3/ and PZT were determined.
