NDLI: A Study on Actuator's Control Hysteresis and Corresponding Countermeasures of Spinning Missile

Abstract	The actuator's control hysteresis of spinning missile is a long-standing difficulty. This paper dealt with the control hysteresis from compensating. First, a calculation method controlling the lag angle was provided by establishing an analysis model. Then, based on the system composition and principles of spinning missile, this paper focused on three components of the lag angle caused by actuator, geomagnetic gyro and missile-borne computer. This paper provided the corresponding calculation model of each component. At last, a calculating method of compensating lag angle according to the rate of roll angle was proposed and tested based on the linear correlation between hysteresis and time delay. The result showed that this method effectively solved the problem of control hysteresis. This method has a high engineering application value.
